India Kaltsas West is a proud disability advocate and Assistive Technology Specialist. As an adult living with vision loss and multiple disabilities, she brings deep personal insight and professional expertise to her work in resource navigation, advocacy, and assistive technology. Through her work with We See Different, India offers hands-on guidance to individuals seeking greater independence, accessibility, and connection.
Vision Loss
At the age of four, India lost her vision and acquired a brain injury due to a brain tumor. These life-altering experiences not only shaped her journey but also ignited her passion for helping others navigate the complex systems that impact people with disabilities.
Assistive Technology
India believes in the power of assistive technology to break down barriers and create equitable access across every facet of life. Whether it’s navigating school, work, or the community, she sees technology not as a workaround, but as a pathway to agency and autonomy.
